I am passionate about helping people to live their healthiest life. I have always been an active person playing soccer competitively throughout high school and college. After college, I continued to play soccer in a recreational league and ran a few half marathons, but that competitive energy to routinely challenge myself had started to diminish. As a way to break out of my routine, I signed up for a 1-on-1 coaching intro to Crossfit and was hooked. The sense of community inspiring others to be the strongest, healthiest version of themselves was something I wanted to be a part of.
Through CrossFit I was exposed to the fact that what you put into your body is as important as how you move your body and I wanted to learn more. This led me to study nutrition to gain a better understanding of the how’s and why’s of what we eat. Many of today’s chronic diseases can be prevented simply through better nutrition. Knowing this, I am driven to be part of the solution to these preventable problems and look to make a difference in the daily lives of others.
