Our philosophy behind the CFNE Teens Strength & Conditioning Program begins at the idea that “Strength takes a lifetime”; the needs of our young athletes differs from our general membership. We will prioritize making our athletes stronger through safe movement patterns, proper warm up, and mindset development. Each hour-long class will involve a group warm up, several lifts in teams of 2 or 3, and then a short to mid length conditioning piece. The entire class will be guided by the Head Kid’s Coach and our staff of Assistant Coaches.

Who can benefit from the CFNE Teens Strength & Conditioning Program? Everyone.

Whether this CrossFit class is your main activity or you are looking to excel at sports outside the gym or wow college scouts and recruiters, CFNE Teens is the answer. As middle schoolers enter our program we will focus heavily on proper movement mechanics and build an appreciation for functional movement coupled with healthy eating. As high schoolers progress through the program they will begin to see significant improvement in strength, speed, and coordination. CFNE is the key to a healthy lifestyle and athletic dominance.

Arguably more important than the workouts is the development of character. Better people make better athletes. During these developmental years it’s important that our athletes have a championship mindset on and off the field, inside and outside of the gym. The workouts we program, the conversations we have, and the relationships we build all foster a sense of mental toughness- what are the obstacles in our way and how can we overcome them. Mental toughness is a skill that will lead to success well beyond the walls of our gym and remains a major cornerstone of our program.
