  2. I’m doing a team St. Patrick’s Day themed WOD crawl this Sat and wonder if anyone has any cool green gear i could borrow for my costume.   3. Hey kids… didn’t want to simply disappear unannounced again like I did last summer, but I do have to disappear again for a little while. Trying to find a better work and overall schedule situation and until I get that straightened out I’ll be absent. Keep killing it… hope to see everyone soon.

  5. Well, I tried to do Bluto. I got through 1 round and felt a twinge in my shoulder. Here are the subs I ended up with (same rep scheme):

    Medicine ball squats w/ 16#
    GHD sit ups
    Hip extensions

  7. Bluto; 7 minutes (115#)

    felt a knot in round 2 around scapula, knot started to pull longer, and stopped in minute 7/8.

    blame bad form on power cleans. not leaving the chains long and breaking elbows too early during pull.

    Cotter was in front of me. he was a blur with his sewing machine like power cleans and effortless jerks at Rx. trying to keep up with that was inconceivable and bad for my form. need to run my own race next time.

    Bluto: 75#, otherwise Rx. This felt really heavy today, even though the last few times I’ve used 65#, it’s felt incredibly light.

    I know, I know… my jerks were a mess. Thanks to everyone who told me how ugly they were!

    Handstand walks…which amounted to handstand falls for 10 minutes.

    Bluto: 65#, and 10# WB, but only 3 jerks per round. Shoulder was feeling weird coming down from the jerks so was trying to go extra slow on those. Definitely good WB and TTB practice – form felt better.

    45# for PJ and PC’s. Must keep arms straight longer on the PC’s.
    TB attempts on the tall bar. Tall bar is better. Palms are killing me. Ouch, but the rest of me feels pretty great.

    Not cycle the jerks fast enough. Glad I went down
    To 105. Like these couplet workouts.

    I struggled today and had nothing in tank – glad I went down to 65# – PC is usually a breeze at 65# and felt like 100#!!!!! In need of a rest day! Per Rachel/Ben advice decreased to 12# ball and went to 10 foot line – got about 65% of them…UGH. WHoever is spreading the rumor that in the opens they will never have the ladies goto the 9 foot target again do not tell dave castro……

    5 rounds strict cindy = 91 RTD – I see a light….

    Bluto- #75, WB #8 (could have done more). I usually would do #55 but my partner did #75 so I figured I would try it. I am happy I did except I only did 3-4 PJ per round since I could feel it in my back. Also I started w knees to elbows since I thought I couldn’t do toes to bar but it turns out I could do them so I did all other rounds TTB. Apparently I am underestimating myself. I’m sure there’s a life lesson in there.

    I love CrossFit New England and my 9:30 class!

      You are WAY stronger then you think. The first step is gaining that confidence that you CAN do something and to not be afraid to fail!!

    3 rounds of:
    3 X 3 min, 1 min rest interval with increasing calories (9 total rounds).

    Rd 2: 33/36/39
    Rd 3: 36/39/44

    If you never done this little gem, I recommend it!
