National Pro Fitness League

National Pro Fitness League

The National Pro Fitness League is a new team sport built around fitness based races… or human performance racing. Its the first coed sport in history and features paid athletes that play for city based teams.
We are considering bringing a team to Boston, but are missing a key position required for the team. We need a VP of sponsorship and sales to establish and maintain sponsor relationships and help develop retail. The candidate should have high level sales experience and be well connected in Boston. Not necessarily a full time position. CrossFitter and sports fan is a huge plus. If interested email Mather at

  1. 14.2: 27 Rx

First C2B tonight – actually did it in the warmup which was funny. Also first time doing 65# for OHS so I’m psyched for this and to try again Monday.

  2. Wendy P

Scaled 14.2…. 83 reps … 25#- I honestly can’t believe I did 44 OHS in a workout- it has been at least 7 months since I have done one! Very excited. I also did strict pull ups with black band… So incredibly weak but you have to start somewhere!!! Laura- thanks for being a great partner. :)

  3. 14.2: 19 (65#, pu)

Well, it’s zero reps for official score, but my 19 reps could have been counted as 19 reps for Men Masters Rx – not qualified for that yet, but better to be prepared, right?

Someone above mentioned the magical power of the Opens. And it happened to me with pull-ups today – never did even a single unassisted pull-up before!

What a blast was tonight’s FNL!
So many people did rounds of 12s and 14s, some did rounds of 16s, very few did round of 18s and it was totally amazing to witness round of 20s by Mat Fraser (must be visiting from Vermont)!

    • Cheryl

Get out! I had no idea you hadn’t done a PU!! Great job and congrats! Happy to be your judge.

    • Damn, it turned out that it’s not possible to submit score of 0.

Thanks Cheryl – for judging, Ben – for your for warm words, but, alas, officially it all didn’t happen . . .

    • ya first pull up! congrats!

  4. Cotter

14.2: 86 rx. Definitely getting into that 3rd round on Monday!

  5. Cheryl

    14.2 – 13
First C2B ever so I am happy with 3. Thank you Susan for being as excited as I was for those 3 C2B. :)

  6. Chad M

14.2 195Rx. It was the knee wraps Camp!

  7. Jonathan M

    14.2: 36 rx

  8. Braatz

    • Braatz

That was meant for Chad above ^.

      • Chad M

Thanks Braatz! It should have been done at the Mayhem but Liz and I thought we were going to have a date night WOD. Instead Logan was sick and I got home late from seeing patients.

  9. Andrea F

14.2–10. I tried for C2B but I’ve got some work to do :)

  10. 14.2 RX 64 reps

  11. Matty Noits

    Open 14.2 – 36 reps
Going to get a full round before I post my score…

  12. Lynne Mc

    14.2 22 reps RX

  13. Bridget

    So much fun tonight.
I went into tonight slightly nervous about the overhead squats (big mental game for me), while knowing the chest to bars would just be practice because I’ve never tried one before.
I surprised myself feeling comfortable with the OHS, and even somehow squeaked out my FIRST c2b pullup!
So I’ll take my score of 11 happily :)

  14. dylan r

    14.2: 18

Well, I left FNL content that I managed to squeak out 2 more C2B than I did in 13.5. Until I got home and checked. It turns out that I actually did 13 C2B last year vs 8 this year.

On the plus side, FNL was incredible again and it was a lot of fun to watch so many incredible athletes do their thing. CFNE+Redline is a winning combination!

  15. K.Barry

14.2: 10 reps. Very close to chest to bar, but no rep this time. However, those were my best overhead squats yet. And at 65lbs, too!!!

  16. Kelly F

    14.2: 65 Rx.

Very pleased with this – I had never done that many C2Bs in such a short timeframe and thought that 14.2 was going to be a 3:00 WOD for me!

    • Great job Kelly with proceeding to round of 12s in 14.2! This is no easy feat!

  17. Heather Bergeron

    Open WOD 14.2: 133 Rx.

Could OH squat that bar all day. But, those CTB pull-ups. Man alive, did they disappear quicker than I thought they would.

We LOVED Friday Night Lights. Maybe not as MUCH as Bode, but definitely loved it.

  18. Nick C.

    Open WOD 14.2 – 63 Rx
