Oh thank you for posting Super Bowl early… Now I can take my hand out of the nacho platter and lay off the sauce.

  2. Patti Jeanne

Wow ab 8:30 showing up in the Committed Cliub! I don’t believe JC is not on the list! Must be an oversight.

    • If the committed club was “by the hour” i think i would have made the list….

I’ll get back on it in February!

  3. Heather Bergeron

For those of you who haven’t heard the what all the cool kids are doing, there’s a 60K Row Challenge I put out there that you’re all invited to join in on.

For the month of February, you just need to total 60,000 meters on the rower. Do it however works for you: 2,143 meters all 28 days in the month, a little less than a 5k row every other day, or maybe a 20k once a week. I’ve been doing an 1,100 meter warm up and an 1,100 meter cool down every day, and that doesn’t feel bad at all.

I suggest logging your 60K Row Challenge meters on the daily posts on my blog, http://www.hbunfiltered.com, just so that we can all have a central place to consistently track our progress. But, the point is to get you guys rowing, so however you want to log your meters is fine by me.

So, the sooner you start, the more time you have to spread out your meters.

    Now, are you in???

  4. D’oh! Missed the committed club by *that much.* (1 day)

  5. Totally in for the 60K row!

Check out this convo between Kelly Starett and Gray Cook!

  6. Michelle

I committed, but I think my 9 year old has been using my sign in for kids classes when the system “no reps” her!

  7. 12.3: 8 + 23 Rx (3 round PR from July)

    OTM x 12:
    Odd: 5 squat therapy
    Even: 1-2 muscle ups

2,500 meter row…not sure if I’m actually committing to 60,000. Time will tell the tale.

  8. Open 12.3: 6 + 0. I’ve never done this one before and can see where I wasted so much time trying to “breathe”. Till next time.

Was out of it this morning – started in second round and ended a min short, finally realizing about 10sec later that I still had a min to go…and I stood in la la land for about 10sec watching everyone do box jumps instead of working in with someone…will do better next time :-D Started feeling good enough after about 5 rds to jump down jump up. No rebounding, but a little more dynamic than step downs. Achilles feel good!

either i got 5 + 4 or you got 6 +34 – you were ahead of me and I’m pretty sure I was 6+4. I was using chips so I’m feeling pretty confident I counted right, but one never knows in that mayhem!!
