  10. FGB: 239 Rx (90, 79, 70) PR by 35 reps from April. I think I made up some serious ground from April on the push press. Last time on those I was thinking “woah this is heavy”. Today I was more like “Step aside. Lemme show you how this is done.”

    Came out of the gate with 118 reps on the first round. Gave it all I had but starting with row where I got a total of 56 over three rounds was probably not the best place to try to game reps. SDHP and box jumps are where I need to focus and rack up reps. Love this workout. 30 people in one big tangled mess of hurt.

    Just a great 5:30 class this morning! It was also nice to do this wod with a partner to count/motivate, since trying to tally your own reps is far and away hardest part of what is already a brutal workout.

    I’ve never done this WOD before and now that it’s over, I can say it was actually fun. Thank you Michelene for being a great partner and convincing me to go RX on this. Those damn 14 wb’s, but so glad I did it and finally have one rx wod under my belt :)

    Great coaching this morning Harry + Max and awesome idea to partner up – made it fun and def easier to focus on just getting one more rep v. counting!

    Last time I did this I did RX and got ZERO wb. I wa gonna do it again And doole encouraged me to goto 12#… A 13 rep improvement. Actually it evened out. Did not have it today. 4 hrs of sleep (yup, an excuse but true). I showed up even exhausted! Only CF could make me do that! WINNING!

    Really tough day for me. So very disappointed with my FGB mind meltdown. Just such a mental fuddy-duddy. Came out strong and just completely fell apart. But in some sick world, these are the days I truly treasure. Because remembering today will make me better. PRs are fab…trust me, I hit them constantly. But getting my ass handed to me because I was mentally soft. Well, that’s just embarrassing. Back to work!

    Also, getting old sucks. Tweaked my back warming up back squats at 135#. Brutal.

    FGB: 184 Rx (woo hoo!) Decided to give Rx a go and focus on standards and not the number (clearly). So glad I did! Great working with Tricia who gives just the right amount of push!!

  29. Fight Gone Bad: 272(with the women’s RX weights) which was a 54 Rep PR from last Fall.
    I stayed for next class and did one round at the men’s rx weight and scored 73 reps.
    Thanks for the support and encouragement, Doole, to do the higher weight:-)
