Attention — Judges Needed!

Hi Ben,
We are still in need of judges for our Nor’Easter Masters event at ReebokCF1 Sat June 29 and Sun June 30th.

One year of CF experience required, but they don’t need to be level one.  We will pay cash (prob $100 for Saturday and a little less for the shorter day on Sunday), they’ll get free food and a shirt.  The link to register is here:

Thanks for helping out however you can!

From the Bad Timing file… ReebokCF1 just picked the wrong day to ask for something.

    Kidding. Sort of.

  2. Hey FUEL FOR FIRE Fans!

GOOD NEWS: The killer new version of our Fuel Packs — the ones that will not require any refrigeration– are almost here! Same clean ingredients, same 10 grams of protein, same great taste–but now you will be able to take Fuel For Fire anywhere without having to keep it cold. You can leave one in your gym bag, forget its there (who would do that??) and find it a month later, and it will still be just as yummy. Cool, right??

The sadder news is that the last of the refrigerated Fuel Packs were delivered to CFNE and have already sold out. On the bright side, this means more fridge space for CFNE’s second favorite post-WOD option (Beer).

The new Fuel Packs will be available MID-JULY at CFNE and affiliates around the country. Sweet Potato Apple, Banana Cocoa and Apple Berry are the first 3 flavors we’ll be rolling out. For you Tropical fans, don’t fret– that’s in the works too. We’ll have a fun tasting event at CFNE when the new packs are in, and maybe bring back that spicy Fuel For Fire team WOD that Ben cooked up.

We can’t thank you all enough for your incredible support as FFF continues to grow. We are so grateful to have our roots in the amazing CFNE Community, and appreciate all that you have done to help us get FFF off the ground. Please keep sharing your ideas and feedback with us–it means more than you can imagine. Email me at cindy.berg@fuelforifre.com if you have any questions.

    THANKS!

Cindy, Rob and the FFF Team

    • Rick W.

Congrats Cindy and Rob! I know this is a big step for you guys. can’t wait for the new packs

    • YES!!!! so happy for your guys.

  3. Just saw MDV’s post and news!!!

MDV, congratulations man. In my short time here I have come to think of you as an anchor, synonymous with CFNE to me. While it won’t be the same without you, Reebok will be that much better for having you. What I do know about you is that you are deep. You think deep, write deep, and dig deep. Don’t look back, but please come back often.

    Good morning guys,

We are looking for a college student to work on some marketing projects at our firm this summer. Position is paid.

Also have an opening for a receptionist, which would be a permanent position.

We have a really great team of people. http://www.Margolis.com is our site if anyone is interested email me pcd@Margolis.com

I realize this isn’t a jobs board, but when I was thinking where can I find a pool of loyal, hardworking, dedicated people….ah ha! CFNE!

  25. Yeah Kath! One of our Awesome 8:30 anchors.

Run day – needed to soak up some Vitamin D after all the rain: 1 mi buy in at a med pace + tabata hill sprints + 1 mi cash out at an easy pace.

  26. Big Mike

Snatch: 105#…squat felt great today…watched a little EC and Gilson Snatch tutorial last night, in the basement, on my iPad, in the dark…I know…creepy but very helpful

C&J: 155# had been locking in at 135 the last few times on this and decided I needed to grow a set. Jumped to 175 on the last round and they felt VERY light today. Flew the whole team in to meet with me (yes I make them come to me) and I walked in all jacked up and shit. Killing it today…love WWW’s

  33. MDV-

Congratulations! I wish you the best on your new adventure. Your departure is a tremendous loss for CFNE and you will be sorely missed. Shortly after starting CFNE, I had heard the rumors – people referring to you as the “double under master.” Thus, I thought why not learn from the best, and signed up for a half hour session. One of the first things you said to me was “Relax Amie, do I scare you?” My response, “Nope, that’s just me, ball of nerves”. Point being you acknowledged my anxiety immediately, addressed it and made me feel at ease. Your ability to recognize people’s strengths and weaknesses makes you good at what you do. Your ability to take a movement, break it down and explain it so that it is relatable to a particular person based off of their strengths and weaknesses makes you GREAT! Congratulations again on this exciting next step for you. Hope you soar with the stars.

Hopefully I’ll have double unders next time we meet.
    Amie
