The CFNE white water rafting trip is confirmed!!!

We will be conquering the Kennebec River in Maine on Saturday, June 20.

This is a special day--one of only 4 turbine test maximum high water release dates this year. As the website describes it, "this is an aggressive, high adventure white water rafting trip-only those with a GO FOR IT! attitude should sign up"

Spouses/significant others welcome. No kids.
The plan is to drive up on friday afternoon. We will be "camping out" in pre-set cabin-tents. Friday night has alot of options- a brew-pub, volleyball, basketball, lake kayaking...and get this.... A well-equipped fitness room.....

All you need is a sleeping bag. All day saturday is spent on the river, finishing up in the late afternoon. Some may choose to stay sat night, some may drive back then.

Cost is roughly 180 per person based on 2 nights stay. 1 night would bring it down by about 20

Will need a deposit of half the cost sometime soon-next week or two. Balance due early june.
