Ben, I met you at the nutrition seminar, friends with Derek, cyclist, spend the summers in Park City if that sparks a memory. Anyway, I wanted to give a shout out to all of you that will be competing in the games this weekend. May you all perform to the level that you are capable of. If you are considering looking into Crossfit New England then please read on. Taking a free drop in class and moving into the Elements class is a must. As a former 3 sport varsity athlete in high school and college level hockey player who was an unhealthy 6'2" 314.5 lb guy at the start of my Crossfit journey, I know what it is like to be tired and frustrated with the way you look and feel. The Elements class is going to help you UN-learn all the incorrect lifting techniques and exercises that you may have been taught or shown years ago. Don't worry about looking silly or incompetent, I took Elements class TWICE, and I lifted heavy weights in gyms and played sports for years and had to unlearn my bad habits. The owners and trainers are professional and care about your safety in learning the proper techniques. You may fall down or get tired quick, but you WILL get back up because you are not alone, they are there encouraging you to do so, and believe me it works. I drive from Auburn MA which is about 45 minutes each way every workout and look forward to it. So much so, I arrive an hour early sometimes to watch the previous class work out and pick up their energy. That is how positive of a place this Crossfit New England family is. Also look into the Paleo diet, as since I have started working towards a good Paleo eating way of life and taken the Elements class not once but TWICE two weeks in a row, I have already lost 7.5 lbs in the last 10 days. If you walk through the door of Crossfit New England with nothing but the willingness to learn and the knowledge that you are now a part of a team that wants you to succeed even against the toughest odds, you are on your way to being happy. I have only been at Crossfit New England 2 weeks now but look forward to each day to come with a brighter happier outlook on my personal health and fitness. Thank you Ben and Heather for giving me the opportunity to do a drop in class and the Elements class not once but twice...lol. I also wanted to express how impressed I am with Mat's professionalism, knowledge, and uhmmm patience in helping me get the proper form required in competing at Crossfit. I also want to say thanks to Mel, Jenna, and Daigle for being great during the Elements Class not once but TWICE. And of course a special thanks to my brother Derek M for introducing me to this Crossfit New England family, I am coming for you man, you may be creating a monster. Through humbling experiences we are allowed to grow and learn beyond our wildest dreams, so thanks for another chance at an exciting and healthy lifestyle……… Sincerely, Chandler Reply to this

Increasing vertical jump is a popular method that athletes are using to gain a drug-free advantage over competitors.
